- EnableAmerica, Lenovo, and Lee Hecht Harrison are partnering to host a Career Exploration Workshop for Wounded Warriors and Disabled Veterans on June 26, from 9 am to 3 pm at Lenovo in Research Triangle Park – Morrisville, NC. In addition to helpful information on conducting a job search; managers, job coaches and mentors will spend one-on-one time with each attendee. This is a great opportunity for job seekers to accelerate their job search and make new connections in technology areas.
The career areas covered include:
Supply Chain – Procurement, Research and Development, Technical Support – Customer Service, Quality Assurance , Marketing, General Management – Organizational Leadership.

- Garner Veterans Memorial Committee is now selling memorial brick in honor or in memory of any military veteran. Bricks will be placed in the Walkway of Honor at the Garner Area Veterans Memorial at Lake Benson Park. Purchase bricks by June 1 to ensure it will be a part of the memorial dedication service Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2012. The veteran can be a resident of any city or state.
