Our Purpose…..
The North Carolina National Guard Association Educational Foundation, Inc., was established in 1968 for the purpose of providing scholarships to students for study at accredited learning institutions. This purpose serves as the motivating force behind every aspect of this Foundation.
The Foundation is governed by an elected Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for various committees which function primarily to acquire scholarship funds and select the most qualified recipients.
The Educational Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization. As such, the Foundation accepts applications and awards scholarships without regard to race, sex, religion, age or natural origin in accordance with its Bylaws.
For better or for worse, what we do today will determine the fate of at least one generation of Americans….
