North Carolina National Guard Association Legislative Awards: The NCNGA William Polk Awards Recognition
RALEIGH & CARY, NC (10/31/2014) – The North Carolina National Guard Association (NCNGA) announces it’s annual Legislative Awards of Appreciation to 4 members of the NC General Assembly. These awards are presented on behalf of the 16,000 members of the NCNGA to key members of the General Assembly for their dedication towards helping to strengthen the support to our soldiers, airmen and their families across North Carolina. The William Polk Award is presented to members of the NC General Assembly (House or Senate) for outstanding contribution and unwavering support of the North Carolina National Guard and the North Carolina National Guard Association. This year’s recipients of the William Polk Award are Representative Nelson Dollar, Representative Justin Burr, Representative Tom Murry & Senator Harry Brown.
Our State has gained a reputation of being the most military friendly in the Nation and their leadership has played a major role. We appreciate the devotion of these individuals to helping us keep a strong and ready National Guard here in our State.
