The North Carolina National Guard Association (NCNGA) needs your support!

Since 1960, the NCNGA, with over 14,000 Association members, is an esteemed organization dedicated to advocating for the well-being, support and interests of the North Carolina National Guard (NCNG), both Army and Air, and its families who play a crucial role in protecting our nation and supporting local communities during times of need. As a corporate member, your company can be an integral part of our mission to ensure that the NCNG and their families remains equipped, well-trained, supported and prepared to respond to emergencies, both at home and abroad.

As a corporate member, your organization will stay connected with access to weekly membership electronic emails (over 17,000 distributions/week with a 52% open rate), a subscription to the Tarheel Guardsman magazine, and invitations to key events throughout the year. These events include exhibition events at the North Carolina National Guard Senior Leaders Workshop, the North Carolina National Guard TAG Pistol Match, the North Carolina National Guard Association Convention, and the Tarheel Minuteman Foundation 9/11 Observance Annual Golf Tournament, and other events as they are scheduled throughout the year.

The North Carolina National Guard is a military force of over 12,000 Soldiers and Airmen that serve both at home and abroad. Since 2001, over 29,000 Soldiers and Airmen have deployed within the State and Abroad in support of State and Federal operations. The Soldiers and Airmen of the North Carolina National Guard are in high demand. These great Americans volunteer in many units that include:

  • An Armored Brigade Combat Team
  • A Wing equipped with Boeing C-17 Globemaster III Aircraft
  • A Sustainment Brigade with multiple transportation units
  • A Maneuver Enhancement Brigade heavy with engineers and military police
  • An Aviation Brigade with three rotary-wing airframes and a fixed-wing asset
  • A Troop Command element that provides state active-duty response capability and oversight of Multiple Special Operation units and a separate Field Artillery battalion,
  • A Regional Training Institute that conducts Officer and NCO education as well as Medical, and Field Artillery education
