Operation Kids on Guard is supported by a volunteer team of uniformed service members, Family Readiness personnel, family volunteers, retirees, and community sponsors. It partners with programs within the National Guard (Tarheel ChalleNGe Program, Counterdrug Program, and Recruiting and Retention) in support of military children.

How to Get Involved
  • Sponsor participant’s lunches, drinks or snacks for camps and day trips
  • Sponsor KOG t-shirts or hats
  • Donate prizes/giveaways
  • Donate paper goods or supplies to be used at camps or educational outings
  • Volunteer as a staff support person to register participants, assist in training exercises and activities, etc.
  • Volunteer to share your career, MOS, experiences, hobbies or interest with our military youth
  • Present a sponsorship proposal to your church, civic group or employer
  • Make a tax deductible donation
